I have grown up eating here! The bread here is THE BEST bread you will ever eat. It has a flaky exterior and a soft and fluffy interior.
The bread alone brings me back here years after years
The banh mi sandwiches used to be so good, but over time they have been frugal with the amount of filling they put in their sandwiches. Maybe 1-2 slices of meat for their cold cut sandwiches. -

I love Ba Le but it's a shame they don't really keep up with how long their food has been on the shelves. I came and ordered 4 banh mi combination and a coconut jello. I bought extra to eat the next day, i always but extra because i don't live close to it.
When i reheated it the next day, there was a sour smell that was unusual, i smelt the meat and that's what it was coming from.
I also was excited to eat the coconut jello but there was this weird thick water on the top and it had a slightly sour smell. I tasted it and spit it right out. It was bad.
Such a waste. I'm not going to drive 30 min just to get a replacement one. They should really put dates of when things were made so this can be prevented. -

After seeing and hearing great things about Ph Bò Tái Gu, I had to stop by and try it out. The beef ribs were huge, tender and so delicious. The broth was full of flavor and goodness. The pho noodle were soft and tasted like it was home made. There were also freshly slices beef sirloin, that complimented the dish very well. Overall very well made and definitely will get it again.

Best banh mi and pho here!
It is your classic hole in the wall little restaurant. Hard to find it, almost hidden in a narrow parking lot/alley.
This is my go to for banh mi. I normally get the xiu mai meatballs or Dat biet specialty. Well even stop in just to buy their plain, made daily French bread. It's crisp and crackly on the outside, but puffy and soft on the inside!!
They also have sugar cane drink here. Among other little to go foods. My recent discovery: great place for breakfast/lunch on the weekends!! Their pho tai is sooooo fricking good! I can't believe I never had it here before now. It has a rich broth and comes with a beef rib! It is the perfect hangover food by the way lol! So when I come here on Saturday or Sunday for lunch, I may see some friends here as well. -

Best banh mi and other Vietnamese street food in Arlington. I like the roasted quail, Shredded chicken banh mi, sticky rice with shredded pork.
